According to the report, the Redmi Note 11 models available with Snapdragon SoCs in global markets such as Vietnam will also be available in China later, but under a different name. Although the reason for the switch to Snapdragon SoCs is unknown, a Twitter tipster who goes by the pseudonym @chunvn8888 has suggested that it could be due to a shortage of Dimensity chips at Xiaomi’s facility. The tipster previously speculated that the global versions of the Redmi Note 11 series would include the recently launched Snapdragon 778G Plus and Snapdragon 695 SoCs.
