With Snapdragon Chips & New Design, Redmi Note 11 Series Tipped to Launch in Global Markets

The Redmi Note 11 series is supposed to be released all over global markets, and the best part is here, you will have a new design and Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. The Redmi Note 11 series, which includes the regular Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+, was first introduced in China last month with MediaTek Dimensity SoCs. It has a hole-punch display design as well as 5G connectivity. In addition, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ models in the lineup also have 120Hz displays and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

The Redmi Note 11 series will have a completely different design and will use Qualcomm Snapdragon chips rather than MediaTek Dimensity SoCs. According to the report, the Redmi Note 11 models available with Snapdragon SoCs in global markets such as Vietnam will also be available in China later, but under a different name. Although the reason for the switch to Snapdragon SoCs is unknown, a Twitter tipster who goes by the pseudonym @chunvn8888 has suggested that it could be due to a shortage of Dimensity chips at Xiaomi’s facility. The tipster previously speculated that the global versions of the Redmi Note 11 series would include the recently launched Snapdragon 778G Plus and Snapdragon 695 SoCs.

According to The Pixel, a Vietnamese news website, the Redmi Note 11 series smartphones will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset rather than the MediaTek Dimensity chipsets are found in the Chinese variants. The reason for replacing MediaTek Dimensity chipsets with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets remains unknown. The handset is expected to launch in Vietnam first, followed by other countries, with a refreshed design. According to some reports, the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset-powered Redmi Note 11 series smartphones will be released in China and other countries; however, the company’s name may change.
