UL Solutions will launch 3DMark Speed Way to offer DirectX 12 Ultimate users new tools to test and compare various compatible hardware being released
3DMark is the most widely used benchmarking program for evaluating the visuals and reliability of gaming gear and computers. Time Spy/Time Spy Extreme, CPU Profile, Wild Life, and more tests are included in 3DMark. The software can be purchased for $29.99 on Steam. With the addition of Speed Way, the price of the kit and Advanced Edition has been hiked to $34.99.
If you already have UL Solutions’ 3DMark software, you can get the Speed Way to test as a downloaded upgrade for $4.99. A Professional Edition with an annual license is also available. Customers with previous permits will still be required to acquire a new one to use the new DirectX 12 Extreme-based testing suite.
Incidentally, Steam amended its regulations, which means that for any licenses for the standalone version of the 3DMark Advanced edition purchased after the release of 3DMark Speed Way (October 12, 2022), the relevant upgrades will not be applied to consumers’ accounts.
Users can get the software from either the UL Solutions website or Steam. The following is our personal benchmarking result for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 with a big overclock. We received 10,728 marks, so show us what you’ve accomplished with your hardware.
