AMD’s Radeon RX 6750 XT graphics card is launching in a few weeks. It has been tested & shows a little performance increase over its predecessor RX 6700 XT.
The AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT is one of the RDNA 2 Refresh lineup three graphics cards. The graphics card will have the same core configuration as its predecessor and it is packed with 40 compute units which are similar to 2560 stream processors. The graphics chip also has 40 Ray accelerators for raytracing abilities on the RDNA 2-based GPUs.
The graphics card will be packed with a 12 GB GDDR6 memory and a 192-bit bus interface. With a total bandwidth of 432 GB/s, AMD will be using 18 Gbps dies for the cards. The GPU also packs 96 MB of Infinity Cache. The GPU will be totally Gen 4.0 compliant. As for the TBP, the card is expected to feature a 230-250W power consumption design.
According to the reports, both the RX 6950 XT & RX 6650 XT will see an improvement in memory clocks and also core clocks, we can hope for some decent improvements in AAA games. The memory bandwidth has a 12.5% increase over the standard Radeon RX 6700 XT.
However, in a benchmark found by Komachi (via Videocardz), the RX 6750 XT has allegedly been tested within GFXBench. Now the benchmark doesn’t deliver any specific details about the core clocks or the system configuration but in one individual test (Aztec Ruins High Tier), the AMD 6750 XT delivers 366.5 FPS compared to 362.2 FPS on AMD 6700 XT. That’s roughly a 2% increase in the DirectX API. GFXBench performance doesn’t truly reflect what we would see in a real gaming scenario, but still, it’s a point to be noted.
As for the graphics card, it is anticipated to launch on the 10th of May 2022 along with the other models. Both custom and reference models will launch on the same date. The RDNA 2 refresh will replace its predecessors.
