Intel will launch five Arc Mobile GPUs: A770M, A730M, A550M, A370M, and A350M. Intel confirms, starting from tomorrow, only the Arc 3 series will be available in the market, while Arc 5 and Arc 7 are set to launch in early summer.
Intel confirmed there are only two Alchemist SoCs: ACM-G10 (32 Xe-Cores) and ACM-G11 (8 Xe-Cores). The A550M, A730M, and A770M are all based on the G10 variant, which offers up to 32 Xe-Cores (or 4096 FP32 cores). On the other hand, the A370M and A350M are based on the G11 variant, which was earlier referred to as DG2-128EU. Generally, In terms of specifications, there are no surprises, at least not for the Arc 3 and the flagship Arc 7 SKUs.
The flagship model Intel Arc A770M is equipped with 32 Xe-Cores, 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit bus interface. It has a default graphics clock of 1.65 GHz and TDP within the range of 120W to 150W. An Arc A730M contains 24 Xe-Cores (384 FP32 cores) and 12 GB GDDR6 memory with a 192-bit interface. The power consumption on Arc A730M is reduced to 80W-120W. Intel Arc A730M has a 1.1 GHz clock speed that is not significantly high either.
The Intel Arc A550M is using half of the ACM-G10 Xe-Cores (so 2048 FP3 cores). Intel Arc A550M is equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and 128-bit memory bus width. Intel Arc A550M SKU has a TDP within the range of 60 to 80W.
Entry-level A370M and A350M Arc GPUs of Intel are both based on the same processor with up to 8 Xe-Cores (but A350M has 2 cores disabled). It should be pointed out that Intel verified that this SoC has a 96-bit memory bus. Both A370M and A350M, however, are using a shorter 64-bit interface and 4 GB memory. The A370M has a 1.55 GHz GPU clock speed and TDP of between 35 to 50W range, while the A370M goes up to 1.15 GHz speed with a TDP of 25 to 35W.
As far as we know, Intel is not providing performance details for its mid and high-end Arc 5 and Arc 7 GPUs yet. The Intel Arc 3 series are targeting 1080p 60 FPS at 1080p native resolution at medium settings. Intel Arc 3 series is being compared to Intel Alder Lake Xe Iris iGPU.
